The education programme will consist of conducting evening classes for village children to raise awareness about vital and diverse topics such as the environment, watershed management, computer science, social studies, use of pesticides and fertilizers (and their effect on the village environment), self-esteem, first aid, sex and sexuality, HIV/AIDS and career options. Also we feel that a programme including art and music is essential as this is something children in remote villages will never be taught at school.

Also and very importantly, the English language will be taught. The evening classes are not there to replace standard daytime schooling but with our level of funding being significantly higher than the poor daytime school the extra classes will enhance the level of education these village children presently receive. In the future the LEARN part of the Adventure Ashram project could help identify bright, promising students and help finance them to go to college and university. Our long-term goal is to make these villages self-sufficient which will enable LEARN to be duplicated in other regions much faster.
