Adventure Ashram's

UK Car & Bike Rally.

St Leonards, South Coast Of England Sat 11th May 2019.

For our 2019 UK Car and Bike Rally, we are off to explore the glorious South Coast of England. Setting out from St Leonards seafront (Hastings), the route will take us through this fascinating area - think the Battle of Hastings, medieval Cinque Ports and of course the charming English seaside! We are set for a fine days riding and driving and great company. It's not to be missed! Grab your tickets now!

Established in 2014, Adventure Ashram's UK Car and Bike Rally has become a much looked forward to and permanent fixture in the Adventure Ashram calendar. Bringing together supporters and their friends and family from all around the country, riding beloved bikes and driving some superb cars, we enjoy a terrific day's rallying and finish with drinks and a delicious dinner.

This year, Adventure Ashram Trustee Roy Clark has put together an amazing route. Starting and ending at the very grand

Royal Victoria Hotel in St Leonards, the journey will follow a vaguely circular route, taking in the highlights of this historic area and we end the day with a chance to catch up with old friends and make new ones, over drinks and dinner.

Funds raised at the Rally will support Adventure Ashram's core costs and help cover transport and maintenance charges for the new school bus from our Education Sponsorship Programme, in the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve, Tamil Nadu, India. As many of our supporters know, we raised funds for this new bus and it's associated costs during the summer of 2018 and continue to support it's running, so the children can travel to and from school safely.

Just to mention that as with previous years, most people tend to arrive on the Friday, with the journey and the Friday evening gathering being a much loved part of the weekend. Full details about the hotel are available when you book your ticket/s and we have asked the staff to make sure the bar is kept well stocked throughout the weekend!

Last year's Rally raised over £12,000 and this year, we would love to beat this with your help! It's ambitious, but when has that ever stopped us?

Price per place on the Rally is £50.00, this includes:

  • Rally booklet with mapped out route, Rally Sticker & Rally Plate posted out in plenty of time before the Rally date.

  • 3 course dinner on Saturday evening

  • Commemorative Rally 2019 patch

  • A donation to Adventure Ashram to cover our core costs

  • Proceeds from the Rally fundraising activities will go directly to our partner Grace Charitable Trust for the school bus.

T-shirts and Baseball Caps.

Once again we have some great Rally t-shirts and baseball caps featuring the new blue logo. T-shirts are just £15, baseball caps £12 and a t-shirt and baseball cap combo is £25. Available to purchase soon - we will let you know when they arrive.

2019 Rally Sponsorship

Sponsorship really helps us to maximise the funds we can raise for our charity. Could you sponsor any of the following?

  • Gold sponsorship to cover staff rooms at the Rally hotel and Rally stationery £500

  • Postage costs for the Rally packs £100

  • The tables at Saturday night's dinner at £50 per table

  • The 'ice-breaker' prize at the Rally dinner £20
