Dominic Pinkney / Trustee
Dominic is the Chief Executive of the HFVC Group of charities that deliver volunteering and employability support to the socially isolated and disadvantaged in West London. He utilizes his mix of public and private sector experience (strategy development, business planning, research, evaluations, social media intelligence) to help deliver the objectives of charities. Having previously founded and managed Pedantic Consulting, Dominic brings great knowledge and expertise of best practice and innovative working in the charity sector.
He is passionate about volunteering, believing firmly that volunteering changes lives and is a gateway to opportunities. Dominic is a leading name in Corporate Volunteering and in 2014 led discussion on this topic at the United Nations at Geneva and is a co-founder of the London Employer Supported Volunteering Network.
Dominic first went to India in 2003 and unlike many of his Adventure Ashram Trustee colleagues prefers the adventure of 4 wheels rather than 2, competing many years ago in the Formula Vauxhall Junior Cup. He is also the founder of the Mojito Mile, an annual adventure through the fine cocktail bars of Clapham, South London.
