A message of thanks and love from Fritha Vincent CEO.

What a year of celebration it has been! I want to send my thanks to you all - 10 Years of Adventure Ashram has been well and truly marked. I am so proud of the charity we have all created together, it has proved to me that focus, commitment and love can make incredible things happen. I am excited about the next decade for Adventure Ashram, what fantastic plans there are in place. I am looking forward to making my contribution as both a supporter and in my new role of Special Advisor. I will still be contactable on fritha@adventureashram.org or on my mobile on 07824999675.

Artist Vincent Kamp auctioned his beautiful portrait of Tom Hardy and the winning bid was... £4,500.

We will send every penny to Odanadi Seva Trust and it will be used to fund the annual running costs of the boys' house. A place where boys and young men are provided with a safe and secure home, rehabilitation and hope for their futures. We are immensely grateful to Vincent Kamp and the purchaser of the painting for their wonderful support and generosity. What an incredible end to our year. Our 2017 Christmas Appeal has raised £5,387.50p. Together we smashed it!!!

This year we ran our Christmas Appeal through The Big Give Christmas Challenge. We wanted to raise an ambitious target of £5000 to give funds to Odanadi Seva Trust to stage a rescue of women and children from human trafficking. Not only did we hit our target, we smashed it, finishing with a total of £5,387.50p. Simply put, this money we have raised together means that some women and children who are currently living in an unimaginably frightening way and facing grave danger will be bought to safety by Odanadi. The Gig Give as a 'fundraising platform' raised over £11,000,000 for great causes both at home and overseas and we are proud to have been part of this too. Thank you so much to all
