Stories From The Field - Odanadi's New Murals of Hope

Odanadi's girls home recently received some beautiful, colourful murals on their walls. A group of university students from the Sri Kalanikethan School of Arts, Vijayanagar volunteered their time to paint murals in Odanadi's girls dormitory. Over a week, they painted lively cartoon characters and animals that were chosen by the children, brightening up the girls home. Their initiative hopes to create an optimistic and cheerful environment for the children, who have been rescued from situations of human trafficking, and to ease their past trauma. The news even hit the second page of The Times of India, one of India's top newspapers!
