Dear Adventure Ashram Friends and Supporters,
We hope you are all keeping well during these unusual times.
Whilst India is coming to terms with the current situation and responding to the spread of COVID-19 with lockdown measures, we continue to be in regular contact with our charity partners and are told our beneficiaries remain safe and well. We are 100% dedicated to supporting our partners during this time and committed to assisting them in any way we possibly can.
In the meantime Adventure Ashram’s operations and activities in the UK have been halted temporarily as we wait for the global situation to settle before we can continue to run our portfolio of planned activities and campaigns.
With this in mind we have made the difficult decision to close our office doors for a few weeks until we can come back in full force and continue to serve our beneficiaries and supporters with the passion they are accustomed to seeing from us. This decision was made to minimise our expenditure and take advantage of the government’s assistance with paid employees being furloughed. Rest assured these cost-saving measures are temporary and we expect to be with you again, at a better time, as soon as practicable.
The Trustees and volunteers will remain available and urgent correspondence will be redirected for their attention. If you have any pressing queries, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Your kind and generous donations will still be making a major impact during this time and will continue to be transferred to the projects in India as per usual. We are also still fully expecting to deliver our UK Rally on the rescheduled date on 31st October and can't wait to spend a well-deserved and fun-filled day with you in the beautiful Peak District.
Wishing you all the very best during this time. We will continue to monitor the situation carefully and will be in touch over the course of the next few weeks.
Much Love from the Adventure Ashram Staff and Trustee team:
