To celebrate Adventure Ashram’s 10th Anniversary we’re going... Back to the Future. 04-17 Nov 2017

Adventure is at the very heart of Adventure Ashram and the desire to give back to small and effective charities discovered en route of motorbike and car adventures is how our charity was born. Many of our supporters, who to us are known as adventurers, met for the first time on these iconic rallies through South and North India. Once connected these adventurers have continued to adventure together and to give back to the communities ever since.

Adventure Ashram has teamed up, once again, with Corporate Partner, Nomadic Knights, Alex and his team will deliver another spectacular adventure for Adventure Ashram. This rally invites all those who have participated in the adventures over the last 10 years to return once again and invite new adventurers to join us on this 2000km ride though South India.

Adventure With Purpose

Everyone participating in this amazing adventure is requested by Adventure Ashram and Nomadic Knights to commit to donating or raising £500 each. Your incredible donations will be used by Adventure Ashram to assist our long-term sustainability and the amazing projects we support. Donations can be made through our Charity Checkout to enable the collection of Gift Aid where possible, just click on the green button above.

Riding on Royal Enfield's or in vehicles with a driver for non bikers, adventurers will travel from the backwaters in South India to the famous and beautiful beaches of Goa. This rally was named Back to the Future because the route is a complete reverse (with a few new surprises) of the original South India route, much loved by all that rode it.

Adventure Ashram trustees and team are delighted to invite YOU to join in and sign up today. During this adventure we will be calling in on the Indian charities we support and seeing the difference our donations make.

We’re going Back To The Future in 2017… to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of our amazing charity Adventure Ashram. It's also the 10th anniversary of an adventure that became an annual event for many years and one that so many of us met on and rode in the years that followed. This incredible adventure brought together passionate and inspired motorcyclists who undertook the ride of a lifetime and rode from Goa to Kerala, riding over 2000 kms traversing the Western Ghats mountain range in spectacular South India... but this time we’re doing it backwards.

To celebrate this momentous occasion we are going back to do it all again... but this time we are riding the route in reverse with some incredible new destinations. We start in the south on Vypin Island in exotic Kerala and finish on India's west coast by the glorious beaches of Goa. It's a challenging and spectacular all tarmac ride taking in tiger inhabited forests, vast nature reserves, bustling cities, ancient monuments and the stunning beaches of the Arabian Sea.

As always we will tackle the challenge with humour and positivity, we will share magical times and laugh like there is no tomorrow, we’ll be rekindling friendships and making new lifelong friendships.

We will also be dropping in to witness two of the incredible projects that many of you have supported through Adventure Ashram… this opportunity brings everything we do into perspective.

We should also mention that the famous 'Doc' and his guitar will be accompanying us all the way, we can’t wait for those evenings around the camp fire under star lit Indian night skies.

For those of you that want to take part but don't have a motorcycle licence you still can. We will be making available Toyota people carriers with a driver. Whether you have ridden with us before are or riding with us for the first time, this is a ride that you won't want to miss. This is where it all began and this 10 year anniversary ride will be an unforgettable experience.

Opposite is a short movie made by one of our trustees of a trip he took with Nomadic Knights in Rajasthan... it's not the south of India but it looks great.

The most wonderful guitar strumming Doc is joining us to make those evenings around the campfire just that bit more memorable.
