Adventure Ashram's Fantastic 2015 UK Rally

100 Adventurers traveled to the Peak District to take part in Adventure Ashram's annual UK Car & Bike Rally. Many people arrived at the beautiful Palace Hotel in Buxton in torrential rain but this did not dampen anyone's spirits. Everyone was excited to get going on the spectacular 100 mile route designed by the infamous Richie Finney. And what a route it was, taking us on some amazing and little used roads and tracks through the stunning Peak District, it was thoroughly enjoyed by all riders and drivers. Roy Clark, our trustee who lead the rally organisation hosted the awards ceremony in the evening after our lovely dinner and announced the much coveted awards for Best Car (Ian Mason with his Aston Martin) and Best Bike (Iain Crockart with his Kawaski). Ted Jervis received a most deserved and applauded life-time achievement award, an intrepid motorbike adventurer and supporter of Adventure Ashram. The event raised an incredible £4,000 for Odanadi's Womens Acheivers Rally. Huge thanks to everyone who made this event possible including our generous sponsors.
