Kyla Stewart: Adventure Story

KYLA'S TOP ADVENTURE TIP: If you are considering volunteering, working, or studying in a new country—DO IT! It will be something that you will never forget and will carry with you for the rest of your life.

For me, the adventure has been interning with Adventure Ashram for the past six weeks in London! First, a little bit of background information on me. I am a university student from the United States studying and working abroad here in the UK. Sadly, I am writing this on my last day here at Adventure Ashram before returning to the States.

When I found out a few months ago that I would have the opportunity to intern with Adventure Ashram, I was so excited. I have always had an interest in working towards ending human trafficking and that is one of the things that Adventure Ashram does. I was thrilled to be gaining marketing experience in an international setting and with an organization that is so passionate about making a difference.

I have learned so much in my time here with Adventure Ashram and I am extremely thankful for the wisdom and knowledge that has been passed on to me. Thank you, Margaret and Fritha, for inspiring me to make a difference every day with your hard work and determination! It has been such an amazing experience learning about the charities that we partner up with in India and working to help them achieve their goals. Additionally, I have gotten to read so many of the incredible Adventure Stories. I am grateful to have had the chance to contribute to the creation of this Crowdfunding Campaign, and now to have the chance to tell my story!

Looking back on the last month and a half, I cannot believe how fortunate I am to have been able to work and study in such an amazing city! Everything about London and my time here has exceeded my (very high) expectations
